When to take Whey Protein
Whey is quickly assimilated by the body while the carbohydrate content is perfect for use straight after training (up to one hour). Each shaker provides 20.7 g of whey protein. You can also round off your diet by having a Whey Protein shake for breakfast or before training. Two-thirds of your protein intake should come through a varied and balanced diet.
How to prepare Whey Protein
Mix 250 ml of water with two scoops of Whey Protein (30 g) in a shaker with a sieve. Shake for 30 seconds and enjoy. For a creamier shake, mix Whey Protein with 250 ml of milk.
Can you use Whey Protein to lose weight / get cut?
Protein is very important when you are trying to lose weight or get cut because it helps maintain muscle mass. This protein drink is not a meal replacement. Whey Protein contains 15% carbohydrates (4.5 g per serving) to help support your daily intake needs and fitness goals. For more advanced weight trainers, Whey Protein Isolate contains less than 6% carbohydrates, or 1.8 g per serving.
